welcome to Falling Leaf Studio, a small workshop nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada near Three Rivers, California. Here, artist Jane Cheney gathers material and inspiration from the surrounding rugged landscape to create her unique wall hangings and vases. Each piece reflects a gentle fusing of paper, leaves, pigments and textures. And as this art form often features a single leaf form, the range of possibilities becomes as diverse and extensive as nature itself.

Multi-layered and luminous, these art pieces combine a serene style with a sense of age, depth and connection to the earth. The universal nature of each design allows for them to resonate in a variety of interior environments.

Jane’s art is primarily sold at juried shows, and has found homes nationally.
She welcomes working with interior designers in both residential and commercial environments. In addition to private commissions, she has completed work for Sue Schafer Tharp Designs in Visalia, California, and Ellingson Design of Phoenix, Arizona. Currently, Jane is exhibiting at Art & Soul Gallery in San Francisco.
